The ruble or rouble(code: RUB) is the currency of Russia. Formerly, the ruble was also the currency of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union before their dissolution. The ruble is subdivided into 100 kopeks (sometimes written as kopecks or copecks; Russian: копе́йка, kopeyka; plural: копе́йки, kopeyki).

In 1936 the new State Emblem of the USSR was authorized. There was 11 tapes on the arms on number of the union republics entered into the USSR - RSFSR, Ukrainian, Belorussian, Uzbek, Turkmen, Tajik, Azerbaijan, Georgian, Armenian, Kazakh and Kirgiz.
